Re: ⚽ Eintracht v West Ham - Official Match Thread
The players know the performance in the first leg fell short, so I'm certain they will be 100% up for this one from the start. Hopefully it's enough, need a bit of luck and the breaks. I can see both teams scoring, so we will need are finishing boots to drag us back into it.

PS I fucking hate the term, massive.

We might need divine intervention to help get us through and the referee could be that

Only 2 of the players who played against us played on Monday. The keeper and Kostic.

Re: ⚽ Eintracht v West Ham - Official Match Thread
We know what to expect from them, however their tactics will probably be to frustrate us, they have the upper hand and don't need to win. However I think we will be up for it. We fucking have to. Our best chance in years to get to a final and these players have a chance to become legends. The game against Arsenal, we weren't flying in for 50/50's, I think they wrote it off. If we got something good, if not, ohwell. We have a second chance to put it right on Thursday, we have to take that chance. Go 1-0 up early doors and it could become a real end to end game.

I we get our set pieces right and get a performance out of Antonio I fancy us. They'll be happy sitting back and counter attacking us, early goal for us and they'll shit themselves.

2 or 3 nil.

Rice sent off.

Bowen injured.

Expect the worst.

Noble has to play or we’ll lose.

I really fancy us. Frankfurt will rue not finishing us off in the first leg.

1-3

Re: ⚽ Eintracht v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Frankfurt are a decent side but we have to go there with optimism and confidence. We weren’t great in the first leg but on another day could have easily scored four.

I think the players know that too and the away fans will be well up for it as always. Get that first goal and I think we’ll go through.

happygilmore 5:13 Wed May 4
Re: ⚽ Eintracht v West Ham - Official Match Thread
A lot been said about Frankfurt's poor home form. But I think they have foregone league position to focus on the Europa. And when you look at their group and knock-out results they haven't lost at home(drawn quiet a few).

And in the knock out stages away wins against Real Betis & Barcelona were paired with draws at home. It's down to us to buck the trend/stats of draws for their home leg.
